Isekai Manga Review “Otome Game no Akutoku Reijou ni Tensei shita kedo Follower ga Fukyou shiteta Chishiki shika nai”
Overview
“Otome Game no Akutoku Reijou ni Tensei shita kedo Follower ga Fukyou shiteta Chishiki shika nai”
means
“Otome Game Villainess Reincarnation But Only Have Knowledge Preached by Followers”.
- Author: Yachiuo (Twitter(X) : https://twitter.com/yachiuo)
- An original isekai series by the manga artist
- The pattern of reincarnating as a villainess and striving to avoid doom
- Targeted towards women, but readable and enjoyable for men too
As the title suggests, it’s pretty much what you’d expect (which is a good thing).
There are many scenes focused on the protagonist’s otaku moves, which should be particularly enjoyable for the more avid otaku.
It’s a work where you can enjoy a slightly twisted setting while absorbing the nourishment that comes from an isekai reincarnated villainess story.

Impressions
The Setting of the Protagonist’s Lack of Knowledge is Acceptable
While many isekai villainess stories involve reincarnation into a world from a game enjoyed in a previous life,
this work features a slightly more complicated setting of reincarnating into a game that a Twitter friend was obsessed with.
As a result, the protagonist recalls what that friend tweeted, and somewhat haphazardly avoids doom.
The somewhat roundabout setting might seem odd, but the Twitter friend’s character is amusing, and the otaku references are enjoyable.
The Protagonist Goes Full Otaku in a Faux-Medieval Isekai World
Since she’s thrown into a typical isekai world resembling a pseudo-medieval era, the protagonist’s otaku behavior is completely misunderstood by those around her, but she dives into her own world without concern.
The ‘protagonist who unfolds her own world without regard for others’ is a pattern that can be quite disliked.
I often experience secondhand embarrassment myself.
However, in this work, the protagonist never made me feel uncomfortable; rather, I enjoyed her character.
I wonder where this difference comes from.
As an Isekai Reincarnation Villainess Story Tailored for Otaku, It’s Excellent
The story follows a template, so there aren’t many surprises.
However, in today’s world crowded with template stories, this work adds a bit of difference and ingenuity.
You can enjoy the isekai reincarnation villainess genre itself, but also appreciate the slightly unusual settings without getting bored…
It feels like isekai reincarnation stories have reached a stage where they can be enjoyed like wine tasting.
The reverse harem element isn’t too exaggerated, making it enjoyable for men as well.
By the way, in the world of isekai reincarnation stories, there are comics adapted from popular novels on novel submission sites and original works by manga artists.
Personally, I find that the latter often have more originality and are more enjoyable to read. What do you think?
