About the Work
“Let’s Play” is a web comic by Leeanne M. Krecic (Mongie), set in Los Angeles, USA, telling a mature love story.
The protagonist, Sam Young, is a 22-year-old aspiring game creator who has avoided deep relationships with men.
The story depicts Sam breaking out of her shell through encounters with popular game streamer Marshall Law, her boss Charles Jones, and childhood friend Link Hudson.
Serialized on Webtoon since 2016, the series has gained worldwide popularity for its unique story and character portrayals.
For the anime adaptation, character designs are handled by Ebimo, known for “Charisma” and “HIGH CARD”.

Daisuke Tomiyasu, who worked on the “Pokémon” series at OLM, will direct the TV anime “Let’s Play: My Life Full of Quests”.
Aya Matsui is in charge of series composition, with Slow Curve handling planning and production.
An advance screening of the first episode is planned at “Anime Expo 2025” in Los Angeles from July 3 to 6, 2025.
A stage event will feature a talk session with original author Leeanne M. Krecic, director Daisuke Tomiyasu, producers Heather Horn, Hana Sugawara, and Minaka Sakamoto.
Kana Hanazawa commented on her role as Sam Young, saying, “Her cautious personality is similar to mine.”
She also shared a message for fans: “I hope the first step towards a new path for everyone who watches will be thrilling.”
