“Cardcaptor Sakura” Two Theatrical Films to be Rescreened for 25th Anniversary! New Bonuses Also Announced

The theatrical film “Cardcaptor Sakura: The Sealed Card” and the short film “Leave it to Kero-chan!” will be rescreened starting July 11, 2025, to commemorate their 25th anniversary. They will be shown in 56 theaters nationwide, with a poster visual and trailer also released. Additionally, the first theatrical film and the short film “CLOVER” are scheduled for rescreening from May 30, with audience bonuses to be distributed.

About the Work
“Cardcaptor Sakura: The Sealed Card” (released in 2000) is the series finale depicting Sakura and Syaoran’s romantic fate and their battle with new Clow Cards. Directed by Morio Asaka and based on CLAMP’s original work, this second theatrical film has a runtime of 82 minutes.
“Leave it to Kero-chan!” is a 10-minute short comedy featuring Kero-chan and Suppi competing over takoyaki. It was directed by Masayuki Kojima.

For the 25th anniversary screenings, both films will be shown together, just as they were during their original 2000 release. The newly revealed poster visual impressively portrays the bond between Sakura and Syaoran.
Additionally, the first theatrical film “Cardcaptor Sakura” and the short film “CLOVER,” which were rescreened in 2024, will be shown again starting May 30. As audience bonuses, newly drawn B5 illustration cards (2 types in total) and mini autograph boards (2 types in total) by CLAMP will be distributed for a limited time.
The staff for the second theatrical film includes director Morio Asaka, scriptwriter Nanase Ohkawa, and composer Takayuki Negishi. The original voice cast, including Sakura Tange (Sakura) and Motoko Kumai (Syaoran), will reprise their roles.
